Hot pink and purple with the groovy, very cool late 60’s and early 70’s!
Blue – all my school uniforms were blue in some form or another.
Red – I was wearing a red dress as a young girl when two boxer dogs charged at me to attack. I’ve never worn red again.

I associate pale green metal paint used on kooka stoves, meat safes etc. around late 30’s with my grandmother’s kitchen. She also had some green Depression glassware.

The 1960’s when most of the items in the kitchen seemed to be orange or green. Orange plastic jugs, and orange picnic plates the same colors in the anodized metal cups in the glove box of the car.

I associate blue with paintings and sculptures of the Virgin Mary, purple with the emperors of Rome and gold with Indian miniature paintings.

I have always associated purple with calmness and the first colour I always choose any shade of purple for clothing and jewellery.

I always associate green with my Nanna when I was growing up. She had an entirely green bathroom and he house was such a loving place to be.
